Since its inception in 1995, SIW, then called Simulation Works, Inc., has been at the forefront of automatic all-hexahedral meshing algorithm development. Its meshing engines, HEXAR (released in 1992, now an HP Enterprise asset), KUBRIX (released in 1995, now an ITASCA asset) and its flagship TEX (first unveiled in 2017 and soon to be officially released) have been implemented in some of today’s most advanced computer-aided engineering and product life-cycle management enterprise software, and have been used in engineering applications as varied as petroleum reservoir geomechanics to ultralight space structure and biomedical device design.
